The optical illusion of depth and distance in an image.
3D Imaging - Give flat images a dose of realism. Add fullness and dimension to enhance the perspective. This means that depth is gradual rather than simply allocating layers. Your best shots can now be converted into a 3D Lenticular, or that precious photo brought to life. It even works on old black and white photos. Artwork Consideration This effect is dependent on parallax; the ability to see slightly around an object. Therefore extra image is needed all around the visual image dimensions to accommodate the variances in cropping. An extra one inch left and right beyond the trim size is also needed. In most cases, two inches all the way around the visual size would be appropriate for setting up artwork. As this effect gives an illusion of horizontal depth, please provide us with a layered file. Set layers in order of depth perception (foreground through background). If an overlapped image has been cut out and placed on a different layer for example, then clone in the overlapped areas to make it complete. For instance, a tree in front of a house will need to be digitally removed and the part of the house covered by the tree will need to be filled in and the tree replaced. Single layer artwork supplied can still be used, however setup cost will increase due to the extra artwork. |
